NationWide Laboratories, as an independent veterinary diagnostic laboratory, are dedicated to the improvement of animal health through direct support of veterinary practices in the UK and worldwide. What you will be doing

  • Tissue dissection and recording macroscopic descriptions
  • Unpacking and labelling samples
  • Cytology staining
  • Loading specimens into the automated tissue processor
  • Routine chemical changes
  • Preparing samples for sending to other diagnostic laboratories
  • Archiving histological blocks and slides
  • Ensuring that equipment is clean and in good working order
