Full Time Permanent £12.01 per hour plus annual allowances

This is a great opportunity to work for the UK’s leading veterinary wholesaler. Our business provides a next day supply and distribution service through our nationwide network of distribution depots, serving an average of 2750 customers every day!

What you will be doing

  • Sorting and loading orders into your company vehicle
  • Following scheduled delivery routes ensuring to comply with Company procedures
  • Keep your vehicle refuelled, maintained and ready for the next delivery run
  • Assisting with keeping the depot clean and tidy
  • To carefully observe Company procedures regarding accidents and vehicle damage, reporting all incidents without delay
  • Regular lifting up to 15kg is required, and occasionally up to 25kg

What we are looking for

  • Previous delivery/collection experience, driving up to 3.5 tonne vehicles
  • A current full driving licence (a clean licence is preferred)
  • Hard working and enthusiastic with a willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoy working with people and offering a first class service to customers
  • Effective communication skills

Successful applicants will be required to disclose any unspent criminal convictions to the Company. A DBS check will be carried out in compliance with Home Office guidelines. Applicants should be aware that with in line with our Drugs and Alcohol policy random tests are carried out.
