Designed to support patient comfort during recovery, the new Select from NVS Post-Operative and Recovery Pet Shirts offer veterinary practices a practical alternative to traditional recovery collars, helping protect surgical sites while reducing stress for patients.
NVS has expanded its recovery offering with the launch of the new Select from NVS Post-Operative and Recovery Pet Shirts, providing veterinary practices with a comfortable and practical alternative to traditional recovery collars.
Developed in partnership with MPS, a leading manufacturer of medical pet shirts, the new range is designed to help support patient recovery while maintaining comfort and freedom of movement. Available for both dogs and cats, the shirts provide full-body protection and can be used following surgery, during wound management and in other situations where patients require additional protection during recovery.
Made from breathable, high-quality fabric combining organic cotton and Invista Lycra®, the shirts are designed to provide a secure yet comfortable fit. The close-fitting design helps discourage licking, scratching and interference with surgical sites, while also offering a calming effect that may help reduce stress and anxiety during recovery.
As an alternative to the traditional cone, the shirts aim to support patient wellbeing without compromising protection. Features including soft elasticated leg openings, adjustable fastening points and collar loops have been incorporated to help ensure a secure fit across a wide range of breeds and sizes.
The launch forms part of NVS’s wider commitment to supporting post-operative care through both innovative products and practical resources. The new shirts are also featured within the recently launched Recovery Hub, where practices can access recovery products alongside expert-led educational content, including webinars and podcasts focused on wound healing and patient recovery.
By combining trusted recovery solutions with educational support, NVS aims to help veterinary teams deliver positive recovery experiences and successful patient outcomes.
