4% Chlorhexidine Surgical Scrub

The Select from NVS 4% Chlorhexidine Scrub has been developed for professional veterinary use and is suitable for routine clinical skin hygiene and cleansing prior to veterinary procedures, in accordance with established veterinary protocols. The formulation has been independently tested against recognised European efficacy standards to support both Biocidal Product Regulation (BPR) Product Type 1 (Human Hygiene) and Product Type 3 (Veterinary Hygiene) claims.

Testing includes EN 1499 (Hygienic Handwash), EN 13727 (Bactericidal Activity), EN 13624 (Yeasticidal Activity), EN 1656 (Veterinary Bactericidal Activity) and EN 1657 (Veterinary Yeasticidal Activity). Independent laboratory testing has demonstrated efficacy at concentrations from 1:10 dilution (10%) through to undiluted (neat), depending on the intended application. These independently verified test data provides confidence in the product’s performance for professional veterinary skin hygiene applications.
