Regulatory Consignment Notes
As part of our commitment to regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, we are implementing a new process for issuing Regulatory Consignment Notes in line with the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2024.
What Are Regulatory Consignment Notes?
RCNs provide essential documentation at the point of supply, helping your practice meet regulatory obligations and streamline internal processes. These notes are sent prior to delivery and include:
- Product name, pack size, quantity, and batch number
- Storage conditions (e.g. fridge or controlled ambient)
- Sell-by dates and invoice numbers
- Confirmation of delivery via our temperature-controlled fleet
- A reminder to refer to the Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC) for full storage guidance
Please note: The RCN is in addition to the delivery note provided in your tote box.
