Veterinary professionals are being given the chance to look behind the scenes at a Cheshire animal hospital next month, following the completion of a £300,000 expansion project.

Northwest Veterinary Specialists in Sutton Weaver, near Runcorn, is hosting an open day for the professions on 12 February, between 10am and 2pm.

The expansion project has seen the practice treble the size of its waiting area, increase its total of consultation rooms to seven, including one solely for cats, and introduce a cat-only waiting area.

Demonstrations

The open day will offer tours of the site and physiotherapy demonstrations.

Clinical director Prue Neath said: “Our open day for veterinary practice teams is a great opportunity to showcase to the veterinary profession the modern facilities and cutting-edge equipment we have on offer, further enhanced by our major expansion.

“The upgrades ensure we can continue to deliver the very best of care and treatments to our pet patients, while offering a first-class working environment for our valued colleagues.”

Anyone interested in attending is asked to register online.
