The UK’s market leader in veterinary wholesaling and distribution, National Veterinary Services (NVS), has been shortlisted for two awards in the IOIC (Institute of Internal Communication) Central & North Awards.
NVS has been shortlisted in two categories – ‘Best Video and Animation’ and ‘Success on a Shoestring’ for its staff engagement campaign ’12 days of Christmas’.
During December NVS had 12 themed days of fun, teamwork and fundraising including an Office Decoration competition, Food/Pet and Toy Donation banks, Christmas Jumper day and a raffle.
Martin Riley, MD for NVS, said: “Two chosen charities, Shelter and MIND, received cheques for £900 each as we raised a fantastic £1,800 through the Christmas raffle, gift tags and eCard within this campaign. We also raised more than £100 to ‘Save the Children’ from the Christmas Jumper Day.
“So many of our people were involved and it was a true example of teamwork in action. I am sure will have made an impact on many people who would benefit from the donations at that time of the year. We’re delighted that the campaign has also been shortlisted for these awards and we look forward to joining the many other shortlisted companies during the evening.”
The winners from 24 categories will be announced at the Awards dinner on Thursday 21 March at Manchester Airport.
