Langford Vets, part of the University of Bristol, is running a day-long Vet Nurse Congress on 5 September, delivered by its own specialist veterinary nurses working in the multidisciplinary hospital.
Open to RVNs, trainee vet nurses and animal care assistants, the event will feature two streams – medicine and emergency and critical care, and surgical nursing and anaesthesia. Topics will include clotting disorders, CPR and decontamination of the poisoned patient.
Eleri Counsell, nursing manager at Langford Vets, said: “We’re incredibly proud of our vet nursing team at the Small Animal Referral Hospital, and we’re keen to support career progression and knowledge sharing within the veterinary nursing profession.”
Participants can book a whole day in one stream or a half-day in each.
