Firstly, I hope you are all safe and well during this difficult time.
I just wanted to update you on a regular basis with steps we continue to take with regard to Covid-19 (Coronavirus) to ensure the health and safety of our employees and customers and to mitigate any risk regarding supply of products.
The welfare and safety of our staff and customers
Following the advice from the Government earlier this week we have taken swift action to enable many of our employees to work remotely. We have implemented non-essential business travel and we are adapting to these changes throughout the business to continue to deliver the services that you expect from us. Our Sales Team are very much available to support your practice. Part of that support may entail a different method of contact and it would be appreciated if you are able to engage with them via telephone or video conferencing.
We are also looking after those who are still working in our depots and our warehouse and we’ve taken further action including applying social distancing and increased cleaning.
We continue to maintain our deliveries through our driver network across the UK and we are taking precautions and working with our customers to mitigate any risk.
The continuation of the supply of medicines and veterinary diagnostic services to the UK veterinary market
We are doing everything that we can to mitigate shortages of products as the day to day supply situation changes rapidly.
Due to the rapidly changing situation we have had to take steps that include:
We have also seen a sharp increase in product orders and this unprecedented demand has resulted in some delays to deliveries, we apologise to any of our customers affected by this but be assured our deliveries are continuing. Our team will communicate with you direct if your deliveries are affected.
We continue to work with our supply chain partners and manufacturers to ask for their risk assessments and potential areas for concern in terms of future product supply.
We remain committed to delivering excellence and innovation in animal health and will keep you updated with any information as the situation develops.
Our online ordering portal – www.nvsonline.co.uk – will also include up to date information on product availability. If you are not yet registered please contact our team on it.support@nvs-ltd.co.uk or 01782 771122.
